Patch for the 18th Mission
I designed the emblem for the 18th mission of China's manned space program. The core focus of manned spaceflight is undoubtedly centered on people and scientific research. The "people" referred to here include astronauts, researchers, and all those who have dedicated their efforts to the cause of space exploration. Through this emblem design, I aim to pay tribute to every individual who has contributed to this endeavor. Therefore, I anchored the design around the element of "people."
At the center of the emblem for the 18th mission is the silhouette of a side profile gazing toward the cosmos. The figure is dressed in garments formed by abstract lines, integrating elements of a spacesuit, a launch tower ground crew uniform, and the uniforms of aerospace personnel. These design elements collectively represent the countless individuals—the "people"—behind the space mission.
